OPEN MESH MEHRKANAL- KOMMUNIKATION UND PRIVATE GRUPPENKONVERSATIONEN Das Sena 50S bietet gleich drei unterschiedliche Kommunikations-Modi: Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom?, Group Mesh Intercom? und Bluetooth Intercom. Das Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom? (Open Mesh) bietet das branchenweit erste Mesh Intercom? mit einem Mehrkanal-System. Die Funktion ist ähnlich wie bei einem CB-Funkgerät und erlaubt dem Sena 50S zwischen neun verschiedenen Kanälen zu wechseln, während sich das Gerät im Open Mesh Modus befindet. Durch einen einzigen Knopfdruck wird eine Verbindung zum Mesh 2.0 Intercom Netzwerk hergestellt. Somit ist eine Verbindung mit nahezu unbegrenzter Anzahl an Nutzern möglich, die eine Reichweite von bis zu 8 km haben (mind. 6 Fahrer in Intervallen von 1,6 km). Mit dieser vereinfachten Verbindungsweise wird ein immenser Mehrwert für große Gruppen geboten. Wird eine private Gruppenkommunikation bevorzugt, gibt es die Möglichkeit zum Group Mesh Intercom? Modus zu wechseln. Mit diesem Modus kann eine private Gruppe mit bis zu 24 Teilnehmern erstellt werden, die diegleiche Reichweite haben wie im Open Mesh Modus. Um die Privatsphäre sicherzustellen, können hier nur eingeladene Nutzer der Gruppen-Kommunikation beitreten. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit eine klassische 4-Wege-Bluetooth Kommunikation herzustellen.
